Customer Service Representative, TPA Membership Accounting

This is a full-time, hourly position on the UCHealth Plan Administrators team, responsible for employer group health insurance eligibility transaction management and member phone call support. You may be based in Lone Tree or Fort Collins, Colorado. You must be based on-site; this is not a remote work opportunity. 

Maintains current and complete eligibility records for enrollees and dependents. Establishes and maintains premium billing and eligibility reporting for clients and brokers. Works with clients and account managers to determine eligibility requirements for members and dependents.

Job Duties

Flexible Spending Account to include; Entering and reviewing claims and charges.  In addition, daily and weekly check runs

Enters flex contributions.

Distributes COBRA and HIPAA notifications to terminated members.  Collects premiums and sends notification for non-pays.  Compiles and mails eligibility packets. 

Answers and documents member calls. 

Coordinates vendors for eligibility reporting and extracts. 

May participate in open enrollment meetings.

Enters initial group FSA (Flexible Spending Account) set-up. Meets with the plan builder to determine plan numbers, location number and benefit classes, Produces ID cards.   Sets up banking information for claims payment.   Bills and reports. Maintains databases.  


High School Diploma or GED

4 years of experience preferably in a healthcare setting


Call Center experience in a healthcare, medical insurance or benefits environment highly desired

Strong knowledge in COBRA, HIPAA and FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts)

Desired TPA (Third Party Administrative) experience

Detail oriented is a must

Critical thinking skills

The pay range for this position is: $24.11 - $36.17/ hour.  Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
