2+ years of recent Cath Lab registered nurse experience preferred. 2+ years of recent ICU, or critical care experience strongly preferred. Call is required for this position. Employees are required to live within a 30 minute drive of the hospital. Call requirements are 1 to 2 nights per week and approx. every 3rd weekend. Monday through Friday, 10 hour shifts. Potential to rotate through MCR on day shifts.
In-state RNs with 1 year of RN experience may qualify for a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Out-of-state RNs with 1 year of RN experience may qualify for a $25,000 sign-on bonus.
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Location: Longs Peak Hospital
Performs functions before procedure, including preparing the environment, orienting and assessing the patient, and reviewing patient’s medical record to ensure safety checklist are complete.
Responds to life threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment. Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure.
Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

The pay range for this position is: $33.08 - $51.27 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
