Manager Payroll
This is a full-time, exempt/salaried position on UCHealth’s Payroll team that reports to the Director of Payroll. You may be based in Metro Denver, Colorado Springs or Fort Collins, Colorado. This is not a remote opportunity; on-site presence is required. Manages the daily operations of UCHealth’s Payroll team of 14 staff members to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. Responsible for payroll of 28,000 employees.
Job Duties
• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Supports special projects and business analysis as requested.

Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of Payroll experience responsible for 2,000 or more employees
• Experience with ERP and timekeeping systems at a large organization
Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
• Payroll management experience leading 3+ staff members
The pay range for this position is: $39.32 - $62.90 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
