Directs the integrated communications strategy and oversees external and internal communications in accordance with system strategic plans. Ensures coordinated approaches to major initiatives, driving execution of detailed communications plans with multiple audiences. Leads response from multiple teams to issues and events to protect and improve the overall image and reputation of UCHealth.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days


  • Develops and directs integrated communications focused on strategic objectives, change management and the overall image and reputation of UCHealth.
  • Leads media relations, internal communications and executive communications teams, with the ability to drive multiple projects at once. Supports senior executives throughout the organization with communications to employees, partners, outside organizations, elected officials and others.
  • Oversees media training, issues management and crisis communication planning and response. Serves as spokesperson for UCHealth.
  • Ensures the highest-quality internal and external communications vehicles including newsletters, emails, town halls, mobile apps, UCHealth intranet and other communications.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.


  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Minimum Experience: 12 years of related experience including 8 years of progressively higher leadership experience.

The pay range for this position is: $131,705.00 - $210,724.00 / year. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
