This brand new unit is 20 acute care beds serving a diverse population of patients including but not limited to general surgery patients, surgical urology patients, orthopedics, stroke, seizures, CHF exacerbation, heart disease, hypertension and oncology patients. The unit is equipped with the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic rover, Visi and virtual health services such as virtual sitters and virtual patient watch. We develop our staff to have high-level critical thinking skills, comprehensive knowledge of disease states and body systems, and strong communication and time management skills. This new unit will utilize a team approach in caring for our patients – collaborating with physicians, RNs, CNAs, a patient technology tech, case management/social work, dietitians, respiratory therapists, physical/occupational therapists in developing individualized plan of care for each patient.

The pay range for this position is: $36.47 - $56.52 / hour plus $5/hour night shift differential. In addition to base pay and night shift differential, full time night shift RNs are eligible to participate in UCHealth's night shift incentive pay program upon completion of orientation. Base pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
