Palliative care is specialized medical care for people with severe illness and centers on a holistic interdisciplinary approach that helps patients find satisfaction in their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual lives. We seek an emotionally intelligent, compassionate RN to join our team and be an integral part of our mission to reduce suffering and elevate dignity in serious illness. The nurse plays an instrumental role in successful palliative care and is often the primary contact with the patient and their family, which means they need to be well-versed in offering emotional support to their patients. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.
Provides direct patient care, in a medical/physician office setting, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
The pay range for this position is: $30.00 - $46.50 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
