The Patient Access Specialist Sr. (PAS Sr.) position in the Urologic Oncology clinic plays a vital role to the successful care of our patients in their fight against cancer. The PAS Sr. serves as our primary intake and access coordinator, working to collect medical records and compile complete demographic information prior to new patient visits to ensure a successful visit with our clinical team. Other responsibilities include reaching out and talking with patients regarding their upcoming appointment, helping to schedule appointments and coordinate scans, patient referrals and registration, and working to support our front desk staff with daily patient flow. We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and patient focused teammate with strong communication skills to join our team and help our patients on their journey to live extraordinary lives.
Summary:
Schedules and registers patients. Obtains demographic information and performs related clerical functions.
Responsibilities:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
The pay range for this position is: $19.10 - $24.83/ hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
