Managed Care Contract Coordinator
Assists with coordination of contract development and administration. Evaluates contract information and reports on contract records. May educate staff, physicians, and management in addressing contract issues and ensuring contract requirements are met.
· Facilitates problem-solving, coordinates report development, and serves as liaison to third party payors and system departments. Maintains operational standards of managed care contracts.
· Interprets complex contracts to maintain compliance. Identifies risks and options to correct or minimize risk. Reviews and updates contracts, monitors all third party payor contracts for adherence to contract terms. Implements new managed care contract terms.
· Updates and maintains contract information in the managed care files and contract database; updates information for the managed care intranet web page. Coordinates pay-for-performance initiatives with third party payors and internal departments. Develops business and payor relationships to enhance market share.
· Negotiates agreements under supervision of Director.
The pay range for this position is: A$24.11 - $36.17 / hour.
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
