Clinical Pharmacist in Infectious Diseases – Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Services
Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion
This position reports directly to Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy leadership and is responsible for the development and implementation of ambulatory care clinical pharmacy services and initiatives that optimize the patient care experience and drive organizational performance. The ambulatory clinical pharmacist in infectious diseases will establish a robust clinical pharmacy practice focusing on complex outpatient oral and parenteral antimicrobial therapy, contribute to optimal HIV treatment selection, assist with ambulatory antimicrobial stewardship efforts, participate in critical evaluation of current and new to market ambulatory anti-infective agents and vaccines, and support of certain operational aspects related to UCHealth’s specialty pharmacy program.
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80 hours/pay period, Days
Preferred: Completion of PGY1 residency training with significant ambulatory care experience in infectious disease, or PGY2 residency in Infectious Diseases.
Board certification in area of expertise within 1 year of employment
The pay range for this position is: $50.76 - $76.14 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
