Longs Peak Hospital ICU is a 12 bed mixed-specialty ICU, supported 24/7 by the UCHealth Virtual Health Center in additional to the onsite intensivists, hospitalists, and clinical staff. This nurse manager will oversee ICU and Vascular Access teams. The ICU is supported by an Associate Nurse Manager, Charge Nurses who have administrative responsibilities, and a Program Assistant.

Manages the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit(s) or function(s) to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
Graduate from a baccalaureate school of nursing
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
3 years of progressive leadership experience.
Master’s degree in nursing or related field

The pay range for this position is: $43.25 - $69.19 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
