Network Engineer, Cisco

This is a full-time, salaried/exempt opportunity on UCHealth's Voice and Data Network team based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This may be a work-from-home opportunity but you must be based in the Colorado Springs area. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Cisco wireless infrastructure.

Job Duties

·Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services.

·Manages and/or performs network maintenance, upgrades, and configurations.

·Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems.

·Assists with the design and selection of future platforms, addressing cross-technology and cross-platform issues.

·Manages customer expectations and ensures prompt and complete customer service.

·Provides guidance and training to departmental staff.


    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 3 years of relevant experience


    ·5+ years of networking experience

    ·Thorough understanding of Cisco wireless infrastructure


    ·Cisco route\switch troubleshooting

    ·Experience with Metro Ethernet and site to site VPN

    ·Basic understanding of ITSM and ability to document activities

    ·Cisco ASA\Palo Alto configuration

    The pay range for this position is: $34.62 - $51.93 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

    An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
