Supervises the daily activities for our fast-paced High volume Patient Food Service personnel. Serves as a team leader and supports both management and staff
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Ensures smooth, consistent patient meal tray assembly and delivery operations providing quality customer experience and meal service for patients.
Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
Provides leadership, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Administers performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Safeguards staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols, including accuracy of patient meal trays and daily snacks.
Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Assists with the resolution of complex issues and complaints.
Works in direct partnership with Diet office and their fellow Food and Nutrition Supervisor to ensure our department mission: Patient safety and quality nourishment.
Daily activities require critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume environment.
The pay range for this position is: $21.49 - $27.94/ hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
