Sr Director Oncology Services - Southern Colorado
Directs the strategic, growth, and operational objectives for the service line in conjunction with organizational strategic plans. Directs and oversees continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing an inter-disciplinary and multi-departmental approach, to achieve quality and superior patient care and services across the continuum of care.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:
Develops and directs strategic, growth, and operational objectives for the service line. Integrates inpatient and outpatient services and strategic plan with the mission, vision, and values of UCHealth.

Supports and leads from a process improvement perspective, utilizing benchmarking data to continually achieve higher levels of excellence and cost effectiveness. Maintains staffing as volumes change and works to identify opportunities to modify systems and processes to further improve quality or reduce cost.

Directs and oversees program development, performance management, personnel activities, budget, and the provision of services. Works to ensure effective physician and staff relations.

Oversees department operations. Develops and empowers management teams to lead daily operations, resolve issues, manage employee performance, manage physician relations, ensure high quality patient care and service excellence, and ensure operational efficiencies.

  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: Master's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: None required.
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in administration in healthcare field.

The pay range for this position is: $69.65 - $111.44 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
