Pharmacist Clinical, Inpatient Oncology & BMT
We have an incredible team of BMT and Medical Oncology pharmacists who work in a satellite pharmacy on our BMT/Med Onc units at University of Colorado Hospital. We are seeking a flex pharmacist that has experience in and will learn to cover BMT and Medical Oncology services as needed. Staffing requirement is a minimum of every 4thweekend, with the opportunity to pick up additional weekends, weekday, and weeknight shifts. Staffing on weekends will always be with a partner pharmacist who covers the opposite service (BMT or Medical Oncology).
The successful candidate will require independent decision-making, clinical judgement, and in-depth knowledge of hematology oncology and bone marrow transplant. The individual will be team oriented, and patient-focused, and will work with physicians, nursing staff, and other pharmacists to maximize the benefits of drug therapies and minimize toxicities in our Inpatient BMT and Medical Oncology groups. We’ll be looking for a dedicated, motivated, detail oriented, forward thinking, fun, and enthusiastic individual to join the Team in the 11thfloor Satellite Pharmacy team. The daily activities of this position are diverse and will include, but are not limited to, patient education, medication therapy management, creating and validating protocols and treatment plans in order to assure safe and effective drug therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The pay range for this position is: $50.76 - $76.14 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
