Pre-Pharmacy Intern - Technician – Summer 2023
Location: University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, CO
Summary:
Are you flexible, adaptable, and ready to enhance your school of pharmacy studies while you develop and learn within the UCHealth system? This is an opportunity to learn the future of outpatient and transitions of care pharmacy services and grow with UCHealth throughout pharmacy school. This position allows students who will be starting pharmacy school as a P1 in Fall 2023 to begin working and training as a technician during summer 2023. Upon successful completion of training and job performance, the P1 pharmacy technicians will be moved into pharmacy intern roles once they have obtained their intern license. Interns will continue with this program for the duration of pharmacy school (P1-P4 graduation).
This unique role allows interns to work in our outpatient pharmacies and with our pharmacy transitions of care team. Based on individual performance, the successful intern will have the opportunity to work closely with pharmacists to provide clinical services in these areas..

Job Duties: The job duties described here encompass what the intern will learn over the course of their time here during pharmacy school. The job duties for the summer of 2023 will focus on training and working in these areas as pharmacy technicians.

The pay range for this position is: $19.67 - $25.57 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
