Performs department/functional area specific administrative and project work to support department manager and departmental/area function. Work includes routine and non-routine activities.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Supports administration of the assigned departments. Provides project support as assigned, including research, data collection, and report preparation. Coordinates training program which includes, but is not limited to course schedule, staffing, space reservations, and supplies.
Compiles data for scheduled or special reports as needed. Maintains databases and spreadsheets to track information. Submits and maintains log of staff certifications and recertification dates, coordinates reminders and supports compliance.
Provides basic and advanced crisis prevention and intervention training to staff for certification and recertification utilizing knowledge of specified training and effectiveness of methods in group instruction, lectures and demonstrations.
Acts as liaison with system staff and leaders, speaks to and is knowledgeable about importance of crisis prevention and intervention training. Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
The pay range for this position is: $22.80 - $29.64 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
