Summary:
Manages the daily operations of the Behavioral Health department(s).

Work Schedule:Full Time Days

Responsibilities:
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.

Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.

Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.

Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
  
• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Addiction Counselor, or CAC III.
• Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant experience.

The pay range for this position is: $39.32 - $62.90 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
