The Clinic Charge Nurse position is responsible for supervising and supporting the staff that provide care coordination for our patients, as well as providing direct and indirect patient care throughout each patient’s journey from diagnosis to survivorship. This person will need to be comfortable working with a significant level of autonomy, working independently but being supported by a fantastic team of physicians, fellow nurses and nurse leaders, intake and access coordinators, pharmacists and advanced practice practitioners all working toward the same goal of delivering outstanding patient care. This person will collaborate across multiple disciplines to coordinate patient care, optimize workflows, work closely with our lab staff and medical assistants, and work closely with the nursing leadership team to ensure success of the patient across the care continuum.
This role will need to effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept new hires. This job requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work well in teams. This is a fast-paced clinic with patients presenting in all stages of acuity. While some of the work will involve direct patient care, other parts of this role will involve working behind a computer for admin time, assisting nurses with care coordination over the phone or epic, and collaborating with other clinics and leaders. This position might have to fill in for staffing when needed.This position’s schedule is 4 10 hour shifts, no weekends, no holidays.

The pay range for this position is: $36.47 - $56.52 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
