Summary:

The Workplace Wellbeing Program Director will have a vital role in outreach and education on topics related to mental health, well-being, and mindfulness for individuals, teams, and departments throughout the UCHealth system. An ideal candidate will be creative in addressing complex issues related to healthcare stress and burnout through presentations and coaching sessions. This individual will lead system-wide peer support programs and help scale existing programs such as the Recharge Room Initiative and Nurse Wellbeing Coaching program. This candidate will be responsible for implementing and leading trainings that vary in scope, ranging from anxiety and stress reduction to post-traumatic growth, and positive psychology. The ability to speak and present in front of large groups is an important aspect of this position.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses a patient's psychological status and provides appropriate interventions and treatments such as relapse prevention for addictive behaviors and coping skills for stress management. Collaborates with nursing and ancillary services to provide appropriate psychological therapy for patients. Refers patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluation as indicated.
  • Plan and execute the delivery of the program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization. Develop a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage project implementation to achieve project and program goals while controlling resources, risks, conflicts, timelines and costs. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
  • Provides input regarding staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Collaborates with direct leaders regarding scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology or Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • State licensure as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD).
  • 5 years of relevant experience.

The pay range for this position is: $52.33 - $83.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
