Pay: $20.26 - $26.34 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
Trains new employees in Patient Access. Ensures efficiencies and process improvement. Resolves issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensures admitting functions run efficiently. Interprets and corrects registration data. Acts as a resource for staff members.
Compiles reports for quality assurance programs in patient registration. Educates registrars of corrections and proper procedures.
Identifies employees that require additional education and offers training. Updates department documents.
Ensures adequate coverage. Evaluates processes and makes recommendation to leadership.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
