FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days 

Pay: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Prefer previous pharmacy technician experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures continued compliance with established and new regulatory trends, changes, recommendations and advancements by monitoring and advising pharmacy leadership of best practices to achieve and remain compliant.
  • Perform audits to evaluate current state and provide recommendations for developing clinical and operational processes, policies and procedures to minimize organizational risks, detect errors or irregularities to ensure compliance will all laws regulations and guidelines of Federal and State regulatory bodies.
  • Plan and policy development will include ethical and conduct standards among employees, establishment of written policies and procedures regarding billing, fraud, waste, or abused to ensure effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws, and program requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies are met.
  • Serves as the primary resource to all areas regarding Pharmacy compliance and audit issues. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of charging and charge code (CDM's, CPT's, etc.) development.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
