FTE: Full Time, 0.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days 

Pay: $31.61 - $47.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Manages the program including mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery for system regions. Assists in developing and maintaining the Hospital Security Program. Assists in the development of programs that focus on personal protection, workplace violence, loss prevention, safety management, customer service, and crime awareness.

Responsibilities:
Develops program goals, plans and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical objectives of the organization. Manages and evaluates information technologies, service level determination and complaint management, to achieve performance objectives.

Coordinates work unit efforts with multiple departments. Conducts Hazard Vulnerability risk assessments, responds to incidents, leads multi-disciplinary teams, writes and manages grants, and conducts and evaluates disaster exercises.

Plans and monitors program activities to identify required resources for the successful implementation of initiatives, strategies, and other projects.

Assists with program budgets and ensures the program operates in compliance with allocated funding.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field.
Preferred: NIMS ICS courses ICS 100, 200, 700 and 800.
  • 3 years of experience in related field utilizing emergency preparedness standards.
