FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days 

Pay: $35.74 - $57.19 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary: 

Manages the daily operations of UCHealth Sue Anschutz-Rogers Eye Center to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. 

In addition to overseeing clinical operations, the Clinic Manager is responsible for leading the strategic growth at multiple locations. This includes creating operational efficiencies, improving quality and safety and growing the referral partnerships at each location. Effective communication with physicians, leaders, patients, and staff is essential for this role. 

This role will partner closely with the Senior Director, Medical Director, and Business Manager of Ophthalmic Services. 

Responsibilities:

• Executes specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Adheres to departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies purchases; monitors usage and oversees proper working order and stock supplies.
• Adheres to quality standards and goals for patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: HS diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
• Minimum Experience: 3 years of healthcare experience. Preferred: 3 years in progressive leadership roles managing high-volume multi sub-specialty ophthalmology practices.
