Pharmacist Clinical Specialist– Neuro-Oncology & Palliative Care

Shift: Days, Monday - Friday
Pay: $54.31 - $81.47 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
Summary:
This position reports to the System Manager, Oncology & Infusion Pharmacy Services and is responsible for the development and implementation of ambulatory care clinical pharmacy services and initiatives that optimize the patient care experience and drive organizational performance in the neuro-oncology and palliative care clinics. In this practice setting, the pharmacist will establish a robust clinical pharmacy practice focusing on patient-centered care and supporting medication management, therapy optimization, and certain operational aspects of pharmacy care delivery in pertinent areas such as intravenous and oral anti-cancer therapies across neurologic oncology diagnoses, to include patient education, adherence, and adverse effect management. This position will also support the oncology palliative care clinic, coordinating with other clinical pharmacy specialists to optimize symptom management. This position will also be involved in pharmacy student and resident (PGY1 and PGY2) training and will support other healthcare professional education initiatives.
